About Melvin Moore

As a psychotherapist my goals are several: helping individuals become aware of their innate ability to heal themselves; helping them create solutions to problems that previously seemed unsolvable; and helping them change their perception of themselves, others, and the world in which they find themselves.

I approach therapy with the belief that everyone’s childhood experiences have a profound effect on their lives. Because we live in the present, it is important for us to understand how these early influences have affected our lives and our relationships today.  Guided by this, I seek to understand a person’s unique perspective on their world while considering the interpersonal and social context within which they have lived.
